Camp Hard Hat Introduces Youth to the World of Construction

<

The week-long camp allows local students to learn and participate in community-based construction projects.

Camp Hard Hat has been introducing local students ages 12-15 to the world of construction through community-based projects for the past 10 years. Campers are taught the principles of design, construction, project safety, and the power of teamwork as they complete projects for local non-profits. Camp Hard Hat is a coalition that includes Builders Exchange, Livingston Associates, Genesee County BEA, and others.

Board members Kim Gaylord and Tony DiTucci discuss the benefits of the camp on the latest GRE WROC Why Roc TV Interview.
