Pfisterer Makes Strategic Investment in Rochester, NY
Pfisterer, a global leader in electrical connection technology for energy infrastructure, cuts the ribbon on its new facility in Greater Rochester, NY. This expansion represents an $8M investment, creating 36 new jobs and retaining 14 jobs. The company’s growth is driven by the global shift to renewable energy, grid expansion, and increased energy demand, with significant growth in the offshore wind industry. Marcus Horn, Pfisterer’s President of North American operations, emphasizes that the most critical point in an electrical grid is the connection point, and Pfisterer’s reliable connections ensure the overall grid’s reliability. Rochester was chosen for its affordability, excellent manufacturing site, skilled workforce, and education infrastructure to support workforce development.
GRE helped connect the company to numerous resources, including facility options, training resources, and economic development incentives. We look forward to continuing to support Pfisterer leaders as they implement this expansion in Rochester, NY.
