Li-Cycle is investing $375 million in a new Rochester, NY hub that will produce recycled critical materials for lithium-ion batteries to power the clean energy transition and will be one of the largest sources of lithium in North America. Rochester, NY has a lot of essential components for a project of this magnitude, including educational organizations like REOC, BOCES, RIT, and MCC that Li-Cycle is partnering with to prepare the workforce.
